When did you/will you start using one? We have started using it about once a day. Her pedi said not until 4 months though?? She's a little bit of a bobble head when she's in it but really not bad at all. Just wondering your experiences.
DH's mom just bought us a Bumbo seat so we just got it today. He sat in it for a few mins before getting antsy so we took him out once he started fussing. He is pretty good with his head so we will use it based on how often he lets us put him in it.

We just got one today. He was holding his head steady but it was back a little too far for my liking. He was only in it for a minute. When I tried to take him out, his chubby little legs got stuck too!
we stared with ours a couple days ago and i put her in it once a day. she doesn't like tummy time so i'm trying to prevent flat spots, i figure bumbo time should work if it's supervised.
we started Carolina in it about 2-3 weeks ago (she's 12 weeks today). she loves it and we try to use it a few times a week. eventually her head/neck does get tired so we don't do it for too long but i think it helps develop those muscles little by little.

We just got one last week. Everett loves sitting up so we figured this would be good to have. He's pretty good with his neck now, plus it has a high back that falls right at his neck, so his head doesn't flop at all.
We have had one for about 3 or 4 weeks now. K loves it! She will sit in it for 30 minutes just looking around and laughing. Our pedi said if they have good head control go for it.

Lily got a Mamas & Papas Baby Snug seat. It is similar to the Bumbo but it has a removable foam insert and it comes with the tray. So it can but used until Lily is a year old. I heard that the Bumbo doesn't last long for chunky legged babies and Lily has some super chunky arms and legs
I started putting DS in his for a couple minutes at a time at around 8 weeks. He's a little wobbly still, so I sit right there and usually have my hand close by to support his head. He's definitely getting much better with it, but he hasn't spent more then 5 minutes in there at a time.
I started using the Bumbo when Caleb was 12 weeks. I don't use it very often or for that long, but it does come in handy during meals (he gets to sit at the table with us) or when I work from home with my laptop at the table.
For those worried about their babies being too chunky for a bumbo...we STILL use the Bumbo for our DD that is 2 years old and 32 lbs...we use it as a booster at restaurants instead of the scummy highchairs, etc. DD is VERY tall for her age and at 32 lbs, she is not a lightweight. Her bum fits in the bumbo fine. It is squishy foam. It's portable (we keep ours in the car) and there are no yucky straps to mess with.
We haven't tried DS in it yet though. I would like his head to be a little more steady first. Maybe in a week or two.
Re: Bumbo
We've been using it for a week or so.... he can only sit in it for about 5 minutes before wanting to be taken out.
See siggy!!!

I was thinking about getting one until I read this. Still not sure, but it is an interesting read https://www.babygizmo.com/news/bumbo.php and https://hubpages.com/hub/Bumbo-Seat-Recall
