I need to just stay off there. The other day they were posting about how they couldn't read the posts about miscarriages, because it made them worry. It isn't contagious. Now their pet peeve is people posting about having a mc after only a few posts??? We are all in first tri! I have only posted a couple of times. It makes me so mad how selfish and insensitive people can be. But it is fine to read nine thousand posts a day about morning sickness.

I JUST commented on this on another thread on this board - I am astounded at their inability to have a little empathy toward a woman who probably has no idea what to do with herself at such a painful time. I know that the BMB boards are more snarky than we are here, but I just don't get the fear inspired by OTHER PEOPLE'S miscarriages.

The Oct BMB went through a similar phase. I really wish people could get over their own insecurities/worries and realize that the women posting those posts, regular posters or not, are hurting more than those 'offended' can imagine if they've not had a m/c themselves. I don't care if they are 2 seconds pregnant or full term, those that have a loss have just as much a right to post so on their BMB as those bitching about m/s for the 14th day in a row.
I also wish they'd realize that some of the ladies that had m/c that they are talking about still lurk on the board. I know I lurked on my former BMB (still do, actually)...and it hurt to read crap like that.

Me too! It is the always popular "Unpopular Opinion" post. Seriously...why do they need to have a whole thread just to be b*tchy...if you hate everything everyone posts and think they are stupid why are you on the bump?!? ugh.....I get too mad about it.
This exactly. My only hope for our board is that there are a large number of PGAL ladies there, so I am hoping we might be able to miss some of that.

Why the h*ll would anyone want to start a thread of unpopular opinions!!?!?!? That just sounds like it's going to stir up some emotions.
No thanks!
I'm fired up, what a bunch of tw@tw@ffles!!! (that would be the hormones talking, lol)
This!
I think some BGP's are needed over there in fantasy land.
That is just so pathetic. I can't even believe how rude and heartless people can be. It makes me sick too!
We went through the same thing on the July Board and I believe PrincessDi made a thread calling people out on how insensitive they were being and people still couldn't see it.

This KILLS me. I HATE when people post "Oh, I just can't look at this m/c posts, way too depressing and scary" yet they are the most viewed posts on that board, with the fewest comments.
M/c isn't contagious, and those girls are being selfish brats. It's as simple as not opening the post if you don't want to be scared about it.
Grrrrr, makes my blood boil. I am sticking here for sure!

Yep. And then some ladies said "well, that's a fear, and I'm entitled to my opinions, blah blah blah". Yes, you're entitled to your opinion....but have an effin heart and think about how your "opinion" is going to feel to someone who is currently bleeding out their baby.
A$$hats. Can't stand people like that.

Everything is perfectly fine - thanks so much for asking! The source of the spotting was a tiny polyp on my cervix that was disintegrating, and it's stopped altogether now. Otherwise, Little Bean is in perfect shape (at least so far)! I actually did an update in the same thread and bumped it up on Tuesday night, but I don't think a lot of people saw it.

I feel awful. I am terribly guilty of not clicking on m/c announcements... When I do respond I try to steer ladies to Mc/pgloss because of how much those ladies helped me, but when I go so long between appointments and my anxiety is sky high, it is hard to read those (too close to home). That being said, I think those ladies have EVERY RIGHT IN THE WORLD to make those posts, and should be supported.
Things have def. been BSC over there lately!
(heads over to dec to check things out)
Yes - I am with you. On some days, it's more difficult for me to actually read and open the posts, but that's MY issue - not that of the poor woman posting! I can't imagine holding it against her for seeking support.
So happy everything went okay!!!

I just read the whole thread and I'm shaking my head. I saw the first post about the m/c post pet peeve earlier when there weren't many replies, but I was shocked to see how many people agreed with her! I tend to lurk more than post, but I had to agree with you on that one! How incredibly insensitive!!
I hope all the other December PgAL ladies don't abandon the board though because clearly some balance is needed over there!
The third time was the charm!
