I try to do some pumping in the morning while im bfing DD. I usually get 2 - 3 1/2 oz from one side. If I try to pump when DD is not eating I dont get more than 1 oz from both boobs, I just don't have good let-down unless shes on.
Are we talking after breastfeeding or not? Not breastfeeding the first pump of the day at work I get about 6-7 oz then as the day progresses it drops to more like 3.5-4 oz total. In the beginning though I probably only got about 2-3oz and it increased at about a month. Not sure if that was a natural change or because LO finally got the hang of latching on (he was a late term premature lazy latcher). If it is after breastfeeding maybe an ounce, he tends to bleed me dry so I haven't hassled with pumping after feeding in awhile.
I'm getting 6-12 oz per session depending on how long it's been since he nursed last. My boobs are so friggin huge too - it's like I went from a C to Wendy Williams overnight!!
I try to pump one bottles worth of milk a day. So I pump first thing and get about 4 oz from one breast (Alice usually empties the other one). Sometimes I have to pump more later on to get the other oz.
I am only getting like 20 ml after he nurses. The total that I have is a little over an ounce. LO is one week old and a lazy nurser. I am hoping to up my supply.
When I first started pumping around 3 wks I'd get around 2oz max. I only pumped to replace the missed nursing session and one boob in the night b/c she'd only take one. I didn't pump any extra to up my supply and now I get 4-5 oz in 5 min when I pump both sides to replace to nursing session, and that much again from the one boob she doesn;t take in the night.

Re: How much are you able to pump per session?

That is about what I would get in the first few weeks I EPed though. Now I pump every 4 hours and get 6-7.5 oz

You all are so fortunate. My son is 3 months old, and I am only able to get about 1 ounce COMBINED per pump. I have had problems from the start.
I am EP also and get about 2.5-4.5 total ounces right now. Did you do something to increase as time went on or does that naturally happen?
Anywhere from 5-6 ounces total.
