DS2 has a slight case of reflux so we have been using Enfamil AR RTF but it is hard to find in the stores by me without paying a ton of money per can for it and amazon has it for $36 a case which isn't bad but still expensive for 6 cans that may last me 5 days so doing some research I found out Similac makes the Sensitive for Spit Up formula which is pretty much the same as the AR but only $27 per case.
Has anyone had any experience with the Similac Sensitive for Spit-up ? All the reviews are pretty good and its looks like people who have used AR have switched to it but I am just nervous to switch since DS had a hard time with regular similac as a newborn.
Re: Enfamil AR vs. Similac Sensitive for Spit-up
Is there a reason you're using RTF instead of powder? Can you switch to powdered formula instead?

We use Similac Sensitive for Spit Up because LO has GERD. It worked great. I switched from every other kind of Enfamil (from newborn, to premium to AR) to Similac (Soy, Advanced, Sensitive) and this one finally worked for us. It still gave LO gas and constipation but with solid food in the mix now, his constipation is going down. I also add Mylicon drops into his formula to help him with gas problems.
Do you use coupons and checks? I usually use $5 check that Similac sends and $5 off from Sunday paper coupons to get the discount. Also, Safeway makes a store brand formula similar to Similac. I have not used it yet but plan on using it once my Similac stock is all used up.
