balloons...really?

I obviously should have placed the order much sooner to have the balloons delivered b/c they are all booked....so now I get to blow them up using a helium tank! awesome.....

have you used those helium tanks at party city or toys r us...how awful are they. to do approx 50 balloons I have an hour. Is this time frame reasonable?

    I would think so but that depends on how easy it is for you to tie a balloon. Maybe you could get some family members to help. I know Wal Mart and Albertsons does balloons if you really don't want to do them yourself.

    We did it once for a school function and it really wasn't too bad. I'd probably get some help though, for sore fingers from tying :)

    Can you check other places? Grocery store, party store, etc...?

    a ton of places will do the balloons but very few will deliver them and we do not have the car/cars to transport them. I really do not feel like blowing up the balloons.

    I have fit 20 in my Jeep. Maybe you could bring some people with you and put 10-15 in each car so they will be less likely to pop.

    We got one at party city for my baby shower.  It was really easy and simple and quick!  The tank was pretty small, but bigger than we actually needed to blow up all the balloons.  I just advise having extra hands to tie them so they can get done pretty quickly.

    I got one fo those things for DS's birthday party and had about 1.5 hours.  Inflating the balloons is a piece of cake.  The time consuming part tying the balloons, tying ribbons on the ballon and then tying the balloons to something to prevent them from flying away.  I think in the half hour I had to tie balloons I managed to get about 10.  Definitely see if you can have somebody there to just hand balloons off to once you've tied them off.

    You can definitely do it in an hour, but be warned the helium doesn't go very far. I would expect to get 50% of what the tank says it will inflate.
