Im so glad to see you are back! I just went to the BMB to check out the unpopular opinion Thursday and saw that you had posted. I'm hoping you were able to memorialize your step dad in some way and know that he is alway with you and your babe. And I just saw the pics of your grandma's house..yikes! I'm hoping things get better for you soon. T & P's!

Oh, thank you so much! Yes, I returned this week, and I put up a November momma check in with updated names and a/s dates...it's a few pages back now.

You are so sweet to think of me during that rough time. I think about my stepdad a lot, but all of my family said not to come home and there was no service. It was/is all very strange, but like I originially said, most of us had a weird relationship with him. I lit a candle for him at church and say prayers every day. I hope that he's helping to take good care of my LO up in heaven, I am sure they've met by now.

As for the BMB, I haven't even been lurking much on there. The UO thread always gets my curiosity though, and so I had to poke some fun at Froggy. I just don't like all of the snark, politics, and vibe in general that goes on there. Maybe I am just opening the wrong posts, but it seems to be everywhere. My former BMB was and still is awesome!

Things are getting better, had an appt on Monday, all was well and we heard the baby's heart beat. We are getting our anatomy scan on June 6!....That's not very far away at all! How about you, how are you doing and how's that sweet LO?

I am certain that your step dad is taking care of your LO right now. (Both of them) My mom has this crazy theory that a baby's spirit because its so pure can pass between earth and its mothers body and heaven and it sounds kind of crazy but I like it because it means that all those people I missed getting to share this with are helping me care for this baby, plus I know they are caring for the one I lost.

I love that everyone on the BMB loves food. But I hate all the political, religious, and circumcision discussions. I have my opinions, you have yours, and neither of us will change. They always start as a nice discussion and end up with people just berating others for their beliefs. Im not all that okay with strangers telling me Im wrong just because I view the world differently based on my personal experiences and the socio- economic issues in my area that no one else sees so I totally avoid that.

Im so excited that you got to hear the heartbeat! It is seriously like the best music to a mamas ears. We won't go for our anatomy scan until the middle of June but we might do an elective u/s on Sunday... its only $40, I think DH will be traveling for most of June, and the dr said there is the slightest chance I am carrying twins and she missed one on the t/v ultrasound. So I kind of want to know!

I love your mom's theory...I made a post on pgal about LOs being "up there" just yesterday in fact!

Yeah, I do love some food posts, but I curiously open up seemingly harmless ones, and then get that political crap! Bad luck I guess. I agree with your, we just need a little more "agree to disagree" around there and leave it at that.

I would totally do the elective ultrasound at that price if I were you! And gosh, possible twins!? I thought for the longest time that DH and I were having twins, I had several dreams. I was proven wrong on our first ultrasound, and even thought to myself that maybe the tech just didn't see it....well the second ultrasound showed just one as well, so my intuition must be off! DH and I both think we are having a boy, but I am prepared to see "three lines" at our anatomy scan because of my oh-so-accurate intuition, haha!
