The general consensus on the food board on the nest is that the Hamilton Beach's are the best and don't get a Rival. Rival's tend to overheat and make a big water mess. I have this one and it's perfect. You can lock the top on so it doesn't make a mess and it never overheats anything. And it's cheap!
I used to have the one the pp has, and it has preset time to choose from (ie: 4, 6, 8, 10 hours).
About a year ago, I got this one and I can set it for high or low for any time limit and of course, it stays on warm after that. The lid also clips shut for travel.
Warning
No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
I have never had an issue with it and it is almost 6 years old!
ETA: Just noticed the reviews on amazon are pretty poor for it...but I'm not sure why, mine is great
Just clicked on your link, I had this one before the one I have now and HATED it. The lid shook the whole time it was on and there was a huge pool of water under it from the condensation every time I got home, I had to put a towel under it, and the lid made a ton of noise with all the shaking. It also burnt all my food when I was working, on low it wouldn't cook and on the other settings my food was overcooked in 8 hours.
