Parenting after 35

Amazing it took this long

At 21 months, Aaron has his first fever.

Yep, you heard me correctly. First. Ever.  Even after his shots at 2 and 4 months I gave precautionary Tylenol (per my pedi's advice) so he never spiked a fever.  But he has a 101.9 fever and is out of sorts.  Beyond the not eating as much as usual (he's a nosher) he isn't TOO bad. But we're taking it easy today.

Hopefully this is a short-lived virus-type thing.

  • Oh my gosh, Robyn-- we are in the same boat over here.  Maeve  has her first fever ever.... got to 102.8 last night  :(  no other symptoms though.  She seems to be handling it pretty well so far.  I am just so worried about her.

I hope Aaron kicks his fever fast!!!  (and make sure he stays hydrated:  we have been giving Maeve Pedialyte....)

  • && - sorry Maeve isn't well, too.   Aaron's fever is down but he still isn't well. I hope he'll kick this tomorrow.  Of course we have 2 BBQs planned for the weekend  (at our house but still).
