what a week. (vent, pg, kids, and ectopic ment'ed)

there was a major medical emergency with my pg neighbor 2 days ago, that involved a 4am ambulance ride, and tim and i taking care of three precious sweethearts, on top of having my niece, because my brother flew out tuesday with some sailors, marines, and ems workers to aid in recovery in the midwest.

that, on top of having my promotion ceremony, which fortunately went off without too many hitches.

i finally got my tenative graduation date, and i hope to stay on track.

i've been on the job less than two days, and i've already lost one of my work phones, and am behind on 4 reports!

at least, in 4 hours, my weekend starts!  after a 30 hour shift with such a wonderful lady.  she has a 6yo son, has had 2 m/c's and gone thru half a dozen IUIs and just did her third IVF, which ended in an ectopic 2 weeks ago. she is awesome, and inspiring.

she has remained positive and is looking forward to trying again as soon as possible.  she does the same job i just started, and her husband is a military policeman who deploys often.

she reminded me it will take a while for me to get my full bearings, but i WILL get this job down to a rhythme, and it will (hopefully) be before i lose my mind! Smile  i really needed the pep talk after my computer fiasco today, lol!  on top of the fire alarms going off on 3 different floors of the building (a phantom fire, or else someone somehow got in and pulled them! Surprise this place is haunted!) i just need a nice long nap, and a nice long weekend.
