Apparently I'm a giant b!tch

My ILs really wanted to get together tomorrow for dinner, even though LO is having his 4 mth appt and shots in the morning. Really bad timing IMO. Well, we called a minute ago to make final plans and FIL answered. He's sick. DH is going to call his Mom on her cell because she's out right now. I asked if we were still going to make plans with both, with just MIL or postpone because he's sick. Apparently I'm a giant b!tch for not wanting to get together with my FIL when he's ill. WTF! They live 20 mins away, we can see them anytime. We saw them last weekend. I don't need to see them when they are sick, not to mention that it was already a bad idea the day of shots. Excuse me for not wanting to add a sick baby to my plate. He already has colic, reflux, 4 mth wakeful and just started teething. I'm nearing the end of my rope.

I am with you on this one, teething plus 4 mo wakeful period and shots is enough, you do not want to add sick baby...read my post below. we are zombies with our sick LO!

I guess I would be considered abiitch then too because there is no way I would get together with them, even if there were no shots that day. DS catches bugs like a magnet and its not worth it for one outting to change him getting sick, especially when you can reschedule because the live so close.
