Crazy appt today, freaking tornado sirens going off!

Went in for an u/s and back to back dr's appts. Went to the bathroom and when I walked out my DH was standing there with my u/s tech telling me we had to go downstairs. We spent the first 40 minutes hanging out with everyone in the building down in the cancer center. My OB wasn't there at first, she was across the street at the hospital doing a c-section. She's so nutty, I just love her! In a tornado warning, she walked across the bridge to the medical building, upstairs to get her Taco Bell, and then downstairs when she realized the office was empty.
Finally go to go back upstairs. Baby girl didn't cooperate for her u/s once again. It was cute though, she had the hiccups, and kept flexing her hand into a fist. We have to go back to have an echo done, because my mom had a baby born with a heart defect who later passed away. He just wants to make sure everything looks great, even though so far she's perfect.
Also found out that my dr isn't planning on letting me go to my due date. She will induce by 39 weeks because of my previous past of hypertension and my diabetes. All in all the appt started out crazy, but it ended up being a good appt. I should bake you all cookies for reading all my rambling!

Im glad that she is perfect, hiccups and all- and that your doc is watching out for your health!
