Pediatrician Suggestions - Burnsville/AV/Lakeville - areas

We live at Lakeville/AV border and are seeking out a pediatrician for our LO arriving in August.

Does anyone love their pediatrician?

Kids First Pediatrician on Dodd/Cedar is super close...but the hours are not real flexibile or convenient. Kind of bummed about that.

    We've been happy with Southdale Peds.  They have an office in Burnsville.  We've seen several pedi's in the practice in our 5+ years going there and have had maybe one less than stellar visit.  HIGHLY recommend them.  Their hours are fabulous and we've always gotten in when we needed an appointment.  They are super-accommodating.

    At delivery you get the on-call pedi so you don't actually have to pick a single pedi before your LO is born.  We actually picked the pedi on call and hadn't interviewed her.  She is fantastic!!!

    We also go to Southdale Peds and have had a good experiance.  I have never had a problem getting my LO's in for a same day appt, even on a Saturday.  I appreciate the consistancy of medical information from the doctors as well.

    My only complaint is that sometimes the phone lines wait time is very long to talk with a nurse.  But overall, we are very happy!

    We go to Southdale Peds as well.  We really like it and have been there a lot in the last couple of months due to DS having ear infections.  They always got him in same day, although not always with his pediatrician b/c sometimes she's at the Edina office.  No biggie usually.  Only had 2 doctors that I didn't particularly care for.  Not that they were bad doctors, but they weren't very personable in my opinion.  But I would highly recommend them!!

    Thanks all! I will definitely checkout Southdale Peds...it is pretty convenient and the doctors on the web site don't look like dinosaurs! :)
