Maybe i can help..washing hair in bath..

First I have to say that my DD would put her head down everytime I would wash her hair..then try to get out of the tub!!  Well last night I put her in the tub and she said hot...so I turned on the water a little and she started playing with the water filling up her cup and other toys.  She was busy doing this, I quickly washed her hair and rinsed!!  It was great!! No crying or fussing! Don't know if anyone has done this but wanted to put it out there to help anyone. I know its silly that i have never thought of before.

    Yeah that doesn't work for us.  A tornado could hit the house and she'd still cry if she got a drop of water in her face.  Glad it works for you though!

    ETA:  I have something that might help you though.  My LO, like a lot of babies, wants the water to be running the entire time.  She's obsessed with filling up her cups and dumping them out.  Of course this wastes a ton of water, so we got this:

    I stuck a picture of birds and a plane on my bathroom ceiling and when it is time to rinse, I say "Where are the birdies and the plane?"  The looks up and I rinse.  That does the trick for us!

    We don't have the spout, but we have the Yookidoo fountain and DD loves filling the boats with water from the fountain. Definitely great toys for kids who like running water :)

    I am stealing this! perfect!! Our little one doesnt mind the water, but I would love to help avoid it running down her face! Great idea! Thanks.
