A girl I went to HS with recently published an anthology of stories by families/mothers/fathers/grandfathers who have dealt with the loss of a child they never got to meet on the outside. I haven't read it but I think the title is poignant:

They Were Still Born

I know there are many web support groups and resources, and I don't actually "know" the author any longer (not like I'm trying to drum up business for her), just thought I'd share in case anyone was interested

Did you post this on the After Loss boards? I think they'd really appreciate it and might get use from it.

I didn't. I figured if someone frequents that board enough to know the protocol/etiquette, then they could. I'm always afraid of offending someone or wording things the wrong way or just-in-general hurting someone more...
