OB recs- Chanhassen

Hello- I just got a BFP this morning (yay!) and want to start searching for a new OB. I went to a clinic in Edina (and Southdale to deliver) when I was pregnant with our son, but we have sinced move to the Chanhassen area and I wanted a clinic and hospital that were a bit closer. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

    I see Dr. Tiegen @ OBGYN West. They've got offices in Chaska, EP and Minnetonka, but he delivers at Southdale.

    I see Dr. Weinrich at Western OB in Chaska and Waconia (I think some of their docs see pt's in Chan too, but not him). I really like him. I switched about half way through my pregnancy with DS, because my original MD was pregnant too. I'm glad I switched! They deliver at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, which has a new birthing center and is great!

    I also go to Ob Gyn West - I really like them! They deliver at Southdale.

    Dr. Tiegen at OBGYN West is great - actually everyone I've ever met with there is.  They just opened a clinic in Chaska and are also delivering at Ridgeview in Waconia not just Southdale.  I live in New Brighton now and still drive to see him.  Also, my cousin is a L&D nurse and highly recommends him.

    If Waconia isn't too far for you, the Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia is excellent for childbirth.  They have a very nice birthing center with excellent birthing suites, nursing care, etc.  We had a great experience there and will definitely go there when we have our next child too.

    We went with a family practice doc for the pregnancy, delivery, and for DD's regular dr as well as mine.  Dr. McPadden is fantastic if you are interested in that route.  If you have a normal pregnancy, it really is a great way to go IMO.  I even went into preterm labor and was put on bedrest at 32 weeks and Dr. McPadden was absolutely wonderful and we made it through and delivered DD at 40 weeks, 1 day.
