I'm seriously considering getting one, but I can't get over the gross factor. Please tell me it's not that bad.

It's not bad at all. The boogers get nowhere near your mouth and it helps get out soooo much gunk when LO is congested.

It works so much better than a nasal aspirator. And my LO gets a little fussy but she is happy and smiling once its all over.

Not my guy. It's usually quicker than trying to get stuff out with the aspirator.

I have the Hydrasense version.

I have to look away while I'm sucking b/c my gag reflex kicks in. He fusses less with this than just the aspirator bulb, and I actually get stuff out with this one.

We just bought one today. I made DH do it b/c the thought of it grossed me out. DS only fussed b/c I was holding his down so that he couldn't help. We got SO much out that we didn't have to do it again the rest of the night.

I make DH do it, but it doesn't even come close to your mouth. She takes it MUCH better than aspirator and it cleans her out a lot better too.

This! The first time I watched the video of it I almost gagged. But then I was converted. It works great and doesnt get anywhere close to the filter.

Totally worth it and not gross at all. DS does scream on occasion only because he doesnt like it. Other times he lets me and is just fine. If it werent for the nose frida we would have never made it through this cold. The aspirator just doesnt cut it.
