Joining your board!

Well, not officially TODAY.  I'm 20w today, and due Oct 12.  I've always wanted to stay at home after LO was born, but it was really just "talk" for the most part.  As a teacher, there's really never a good time to take a year off (first going through three years of tenure, then budget cuts and excessing, you just never know if your job will be there a year from now- it's not always smart to "freeze" your seniority and let people pass you by for a year).

Anyway, we've been crunching numbers and we finally decided that we can afford (barely!) for me to stay home for the entire school year after LO is born in October! I'm so excited to be able to enjoy that first year and not worry about work. I'm looking forward to being around on your board a little more now that we've decided.
