Dynamo or YMCA for Swim

Sorry the post below about swim classes made me start to think a little.  I would like to do one of the classes in June with adam (he will be 23 months).  Do you all like Dynamo or YMCA better?  I'm looking for something very laid back and Dynamo seems a little structured from reading the website.  Thoughts?

Thanks!

  • we did YMCA and it was just OK because (at least at our Y) they have a class for 0-36 months and then other classes for the older kids.  That 0-36 months is a HUGE age range and they really don't do anything except get them used to the water.  the class we did this winter for finn who is older was a better class.  but looking at your age range you'd be in that 0-36 mos which is just ok, IMO, but cheap if you're a member so not bad if you just want to give it a try!
