back from u/s - seeing double

We went in for an u/s since I've had spotting for the last 4 days. They found a subchorionic hematoma that was the cause of my spotting. The u/s tech wasn't too concerned about finding that and told me I could expect my spotting to continue for awhile. She also showed us baby A and baby B. Baby A is measuring at 6w 3d and had a h/b of 127. Baby B is measuring at 6w 5d and had a h/b of 135. DH and I are so excited, yet very shocked. Twins do not run in either family.
Anyone else have/had a subchorionic hematoma? Do you twins develop a little slower than just a single baby? That had me a little concerned.

I did have a SCH with my twins, which eventually ended in loss, but I know lots of women who have SCH's and go on to have perfectly normal pregnancies and healthy children. I don't know about the growth thing though. My little ones were always 1-2 days behind where they should be, but early u/s can be wrong up to +/- 4 days. If the Dr isn't concerned, I wouldn't worry.
Congratulations again! Sending lots of T&Ps that your little ones continue to be strong and healthy!

Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer
Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

Wow that's so exciting!! I don't know if this is relevant or not, but I've heard that when you have twins the girls are usually smaller then the boys. Maybe that's why they're measuring a bit different?
I'm secretly hoping for twins...both me and MH are twins so it would be fun....
