Update to follow up u/s today!

So i was all stressed out about not seeing the fetal pole last week at 5w5days, but we saw the baby and the heartbeat today at 6w5d!!!!! SOOO exciting!!! the baby is measuring 5 mm and heartbeat of 132!! She said everything looks great! only thing is now they wont do a 9 week ultrasound which they normally do, since they saw the heartbeat. so now i have to wait til the 20 week one, i opted out of the NT one. At least my doctor does the doppler at 12 weeks!

Anyway I hope the rest of you who were in the waiting game get to see your little peanuts soon!!!

    I am glad that someone else commented about this! We just went for an ultrasound to try and pin point our due date (The pregnancy was well, a surprise to say the least!) They estimated me to be about six weeks, but the fetal pole was very hard to see on the ultrasound - and no heart beat. This leads me to believe that I may not be as far along as they say... 

     Anyways, my point is! Your post made me feel a bunch better because I know that so much  can develop within just a few days! I am just going to stay positive and continue to be healthy until our next appointment :) Updates to come!

    I'm so glad your appointment went well.  Hurray for seeing a nice strong heartbeat!
