who's doing a baby pool... and how/where?

i would really like to do a baby pool... i've found two websites via google: expectnet.com and babypool.com. any thoughts/experiences on either of these?

if you are doing a baby pool and would like to share your ideas on how/where to pull it off, please post!

I am using this website -- https://www.babyhunch.com/index.php.

So far so good - it lets you pick what fields you want people to guess and does scoring for you.

We are using Babypool. We have yet to tell people about it (waiting until we're closer to 36 weeks) but it's all ready to go. I'll send you a PM with the link.... Might help you decide. It took me a bit to get the hang of it but now that it's done I really like it!

I'm using bebepool. I've set it up so that you enter a guess for birth date, birth time, sex, length and weight. I didn't bother with eye colour, hair colour or name. I like that bebepool gives you the option of writing a little welcome message at the top and posting a picture. I'm gong to include stuff like the baby's due date and average length and weight at birth to help people guess (before I was pregnant, I would never have known that 20" was the average newborn length).

Expectnet seems fine too but it puts very heavy emphasis on the baby's sex. If that's all you're going for then it's not a bad way to go.

I'm using babyhunch as well. It's been fun so far! Prizes for first place are-

1. Bottle of wine or 6 pack of beer of choice.

2. Starbucks GC.

I'm still trying to choose between BabyHunch and ExpectNet, but these sites all seem to be the same. I will start asking family and friends to guess when we're around 36 wks. Can't wait!

We have one in my office, but it's not online just a printed one. It's just a calendar made in MS word that includes 2 weeks before and after my edd. There's a buy-in of a few $. You get one point for each day you are off and the person with the least points wins the $.
