So DD is in her crib for the first time. She didn't seem to want to go down in her RnP tonight- was kicking and arching her back and trying to move. Seemed like she might be wanting more freedom of movement - so I put her in the crib under her mobile and she fell asleep! WOW. It's only been maybe 10 minutes...so fingers crossed that it lasts. DH isn't here this week, so I'm hoping it doesn't make for a very long night with lots of waking.

Good luck!!! DS slept in his crib ALL night last night for the very first time! I was trying to transition him by putting him down for naps in it..but he wasn't very interested in that at all. But he did super good last night. So tonight he is in it again! I hope all goes well for you! I was sad because he felt so far away from me even though he was only across the hall! Our babies are growing up so fast!

Thanks. Wow - good job for your little guy! DD made it about 4 hours in the crib - then I fed her and put her back in the RnP for the rest of the night (6 more hours - yay!) I can't believe she actually "chose" to put herself in the crib last night. You are right...growing up so fast!

Good Luck!! My DD slept in her crib for the first time a few weeks ago just for a nap. She did pretty good. We haven't tried it at night time yet. One of the excuses I use is that I haven't bought a monitor yet. I just really like having her in our room. I never thought I would.
