  I am on it and it only makes me sleepy. I know it has different effects on different people though.  Sorry I can't help with the dizziness.  Are you taking it with a full or empty stomach? With lots of water?

  i'm on it and it definitely makes me sleepy, but i take it at night so it hasn't been a problem.
  

  BFP #1: 1/27/11, mc 3/17/11 at 9w2d, baby measured at 8w3d, no heartbeat BFP #2: 5/13/11; beta #1: 382, beta #2: 7842. heartbeat: 103 at 6 weeks; 146 at 7 weeks, 165 at 9 weeks, 173 at 12 weeks, 158 at 16 weeks.

  I take it right after I eat breakfast and dinner. It also makes me very sleepy as well.

  I was on it before and yes, I agree, it kicked my butt too.  I also felt dizzy and very sleepy.

  I'm on it and I haven't noticed any major symptoms, thankfully. I take it before bed, also.

  I was told specifically to take it on an empty stomach. Don't know if that makes a difference in the side effects, but maybe you could ask your doctor? Just a thought. Seems like everyone's doctor says something different anyway.

  I'm on progesterone, but not technically prometrium.  I don't think I've really had any side effects, which is odd given the high dose that I'm on.  Maybe what I think are pg symptoms are just side effects of the progesterone.

  I'm on prometrium - but take it as a suppository in the morning & night.  I found that actually swallowing them makes me dizzy.  But the other way doesn't have those effects.. just a little bloating.

  I take it 2x daily, and it tends to kick my butt most mornings.  I always seem to get dizzy about 15-30 minutes after I take it.  It also makes me pretty tired.

  Are you taking it orally or vaginally?  I was on the vaginal suppositories and wasn't dizzy, but was totally exhausted.  I read that taking it orally can make the side effects worse.
