...who's there yet? I'm pretty sure we are. For the past 2 nights, DD has slept like absolute sh!t. DH and I are walking zombies, because she has been waking up every 2-3 hours and is so restless when she does sleep. Bye bye 8 hour stretches.
What are your experiences. Mine? It sucks, and I need it to be over very soon. I feel like I have a newborn all over again.

I've seen so many different things about how long it lasts. I'm hoping for a couple weeks tops!
I'm pretty sure we're going through this right now. To be fair, we are also transitioning out of the swaddle after too many Houdini acts- even with a sleep sack w/ velcro. Either way, DS is waking up every 2-3 hours lately.. sometimes he puts himself back to sleep, and other times he fusses until I go in to check on him. Last night, I heard him "talking" on the monitor, and when I went into his room, he was grinning from ear to ear and wide awake. Silly boy!
ETA: That was at 3:30 am, btw. Momma's tired at work today!
All these descriptions sound like regular nights to me. I'm becoming more and more convinced that Audrey is never going to sleep longer than 3 hours at a time. During her 3 month growth spurt, she was up every hour. I can't even fathom what the 4 month is going to be like. My mom told me I didn't STTN until I was 15 months, and DH didn't until he was 9 months. We're screwed.
This is my biggest debate right now. Since we're not sleeping well now, I'm debating if we should lose the swaddle and RnP now and get it all over with at once.
We've had him in his own room for a little over a week now, and that part seems to be going well. I'm sleeping more soundly when I AM able to sleep, because with the monitor I only hear his fussing/crying and not all his little grunts and toots.. haha.
As far as transitioning from the swaddle, we're still using a sleep sack, but we're wrapping it around his waist instead of his arms. So far so good, I guess. He is waking more often, but he isn't wanting to eat or anything- just needs to be comforted and he's usually back asleep after a few minutes.
Apparently, Dh sttn at 2 weeks and me not until I was 2, yes 2!
This is exactly what DD is doing, and it's killing me. She's not hungry, so she doesn't even eat at those times during the night. She just wants to be put back to sleep. It's so exhausting.
