How long?

Another post on here made me wonder. How long did you TTC for this pregnancy? This pregnancy was only about 3 months for us. We STC for 2 years before we got pregnant with our daughter and she was a clomid baby. I was about to start another clomid cycle and here we are now. I feel blessed that it wasn't as difficult this time since I have been in that dark place of trying and month after month not succeeding.

    This was our second month.  My daughter was 2 months also of TTC.

    This baby was close to 4 years in the making.  We started TTC when our DD turned 1 and she will be 5 on July 4th.  We have been with a RE for over a year but we were actually on a treatment break when we got a surprise BFP.

    We started TTC in April 2010.  We conceived after 5 cycles but had a missed miscarriage at 6w4d.  After two cycles to recover from my D&E, we tried for 5 more cycles before getting our second BFP.

    We got our BFP on our first month of really trying (temping, charting, OPK's). We'd "tried" the cycle before, but I had no idea when I O'd lol.

    5 months, I got my first BFP after 4 months, but had a very early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy. Then we took a month off and got another BFP the first month we started trying again. I hope this one sticks Smile

    I was on depo so I had to get my cycle back before I could even get pg.  It only took 2 cycles, but that was 4 months (still not very long compared to a lot of women going off depo).

    24 cycles in 26 months. We thought we would never conceive without IVF but could never afford it. Adoptions seemed out of our reach too. This baby is a bigger blessing than anything I could ever express.

    We got pregnant the first cycle we tried and had a miscarriage. After that we had to wait one cycle, tried the second cycle, and got pregnant that cycle.

    2.5 years. Two failed IVFs, one IVF converted to IUI. Finally, IVF #3 was the charm.
    TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
    IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
    IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
    IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
    Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
    IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
    Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
    Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
    IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
    Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
    IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
    IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

    9 months of charting, temping, and some bad timing finally took a turn for the better.  We'd been trying since last July when I got a BFP a few weeks ago.

    4 cycles with this one. 2 of them we short/weird cycles after getting IUD out.  DD took 16 months.  DS was a lazy night when we didn't feel like thinking about getting a condom or figuring out where I was in my cycle.  Lol!  I guess we've kind of had everything happen for us!
