Is this even possible??

Ok so my first U/S they found 2 embryo's one measuring at 6w3d and one at 5w....my doc said the one at 5w just stopped developing but after reading some of these posts with way messed up due date changes I am starting to wonder if one could just be that far behind the other?  My husbands cousin had twins and her first u/s they couldnt find the heart beat on one of them, but it was just because it was 4 days behind the other.  I have an appointment today so i will ask for another u/s to find out for sure but just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?

    I would ask for another U/S too.  But 2 weeks apart to be sure.  I had my first U/S last week.  2 sacs were found and only 1 heartbeat.  RE wants me to return next friday (2 weeks from the first one) to check on the heartbeat of Baby B.  Seems like this was the story for a lot of women on here and they give me hope that Baby B decided to stick around but is just a little behind.

    My first u/s was 4 weeks ago.  I am 10 weeks now so they should be able to tell me for sure now.

    I went in for my first U/S at about 6 weeks and they measured about 5 days apart I'm 11 weeks now and they are measuring the same and doing great so I think early on the size difference is normal. Also for my first U/S baby A had a much higher HR than baby B but they are almost the same now. Good luck to both of you!

    I agree with this I had my u/s 2 weeks ago tomorrow found 4 sacs but only 3 heartbeats I go back tomorrow for my follow up to see if 3 or 4 babies.

    They did not tell me.  Just that one had a heartbeat and for baby B they could only see the sac.  I'm still holding on to hope though.  Good luck and please keep us updated.
