Ummmm... odor??? (Totally TMI)

Does anyone else have an odor "down there"? It started right about week 5. I don't think it's an infection of any kind because everything else if functioning normally. There's just a very new, distinct aroma...

    Me! I tried googling it but everyone just says infection, infection, infection. It's not rotten, just........different. I'm assuming it has something to do with the insane increase of cm, aka snail trail that I have. Do you also have an increase in cm?

    Me too! I had a pelvic exam no infections or anything..Doctor says that its just my hormones changing that may cause it?!?!

    Havent noticed anything myself but i have noticed im super sensitive to certain smells. Things like garlic i use to LOVE but now i smell it and i feel nausea instantly

    Yeah, I had the same thing w/my first pregnancy.  I think it's all due to the increased hormones.

    Me too! I'm kind of thinking it's related to my pre-natals. It has actually gotten better since I switched to different ones.

    I haven't noticed any odor... yet. I do have this weird "phantom leaking" feeling. Kind of like when I would start my period. I look and expect to see something - spotting, discharge, anything! - and there's nothing there. It's weird and kind of freaking me out of be honest.

    Same here! I switched my prenatals last week and it has cut down on 'that' odor

    THANK GOODNESS!!! So glad to hear I'm not the only one!! I cannot take prenatals (due to a bladder condition) but I did begin taking folic acid with my children's vitamins as soon as we found out we were pg. I wonder if that + added hormones could be the cause... Hmmm...

    No increase in cm, but there is a little discharge every now and again. Nothing really significant though.

    Just out of curiosity - how do you know you are having a girl at 5 weeks?

    I am the same way, but I think mine has a lot to do with having a lot of spotting with my last pregnancy and it ending in a m/c.  I'm 9w3d and haven't had any spotting yet this go around (knock on wood), but I know it can still come. 

     As for the smell, I wonder if it really smells worse or if my nose is just so much more sensitive so I think it's worse than it really is.  ???

    I know exactly what you are experiencing! I just had an annual a few weeks ago and it came out fine, I had to call the doc office and ask them, "are you sure cuz this is really strange". She said its fine, just horomones.

     

    **PRENATALS- any suggestions on a brand that may change that????
