Any recommendations? Just DH and I are going for a belated 5th anniversary trip. We're spending Fri night in Boston so any dinner recs?
Then we'll be in Cape Cod for 4 nights and driving to Maine, 1 night in NH and then 2 nights outside Acadia Park.
Does anyone have any "Must do or see" things in any of those places?
I'm super excited!
Oh and if you live there or around there, how's the weather? I'm in So Fl and it's in the 90's so I'm hoping for some cooler weather!

This totally! Soooo jealous!
Where are you staying in Boston?
If I only had one meal in Boston, I would make it Neptune Oyster. It is off the main drag in the North End. https://www.neptuneoyster.com/ The hot buttered lobster roll is beyond insane. Actually, if I had to choose a last meal on earth, it would probably be this. On Friday night either get there early or late. It will be mobbed during prime hours. Even so, with just 2 of you, you might be able to score a seat at the bar and eat dinner there.
After dinner stroll over to Mike's Pastry on Hanover and order the Lobster Tail. Trust me, it is the best thing they make. For cannoli, I prefer Modern Pastry.
North of Boston is the Peabody Essex Museum, one of the coolest small museums anywhere. https://www.pem.org/ The whaling captains brought back all the cool stuff they found during their travels. And it continues to be supplemented with art and artifacts from around the world. If the weather turns on you this is a great place to spend a day.
Portland Maine has some excellent restaurants. My all time favorite is Fore Street Grill. https://www.forestreet.biz/ My mouth started watering as soon as I thought about the wood-oven roasted mussels. I might have to drive up that way soon.
Do you know where you are staying outside of Acadia?
I'm from Maine too! I haven't been up to Acadia in years! You should def go up to Cadillac Mt, you can drive all the way up and see for MILES on a good day! In town Bar Harbor go to a little ice cream shop, Ben and Bill's I think it's called... SO GOOD!! Have fun and I'm SO jealous!
