I know all anyone really wishes for is a healthy baby. So that aside, are you hoping for one gender over the other? I find myself wishing for a boy since we already have a girl. However, I do not feel like I will be at all disappointed with another little girl since we love ours so much and she is wonderful. Besides that, I feel like I know how to do little girl.

I am SO split this time around. I really want to have a girl someday, but I'm not sure I want that this time because I would love for DS to have a brother close-ish in age.

So, I guess I'm not really pulling for any specific sex. Obviously, a healthy baby is most important anyways! (as you said)

Besides wishing for a healthy baby (of course) I'm hoping for a little girl, DH and I have a son together and DH has an older daughter. I love my step daughter but she is 13 and stays mostly with her mom. I'd love to have a little girl of my own. My mom and sister are my best friends and I'd just love to have a daughter to bond with in that way. I would not be disappointed with a boy though because I think it would be so great for DS to have a little brother. So I'm leaning toward girl but will be fine with either.

Aside from the fact that I will obviously be happy with whatever/whoever I give birth to, I would love to have a little boy. My husband grew up in a family of females minus his uncle and whoever married into the family. Now he lives with me and four dogs...all female. He tells me all the time that he lives in a "house full of b*tches" (it's funny to us, because it's true...he's not really calling me a b*tch haha) I would looove to have a little boy for him. He would be thrilled. Ask him, though, and he will say, "I don't care what it is as long as it's a healthy baby."

I don't really have a preference. I REALLY wanted another girl when I had DS. This time, I have one of each already so I don't really care. That said, SIL just found out she's having a girl so it would be kind of cool to have a girl also since they will be 3 months apart.

DH wants a little girl so bad! And although I would be thrilled if it were a little girl, because I have such a great relationship with my own mom and sister, I would love to have a little mama's boy. .

I guess one of us will get our wish! Haha!

I just want that baby to grow!!

But, I really want a girl and DH really wants a boy...so in a way I want a boy since I know it would make him so happy and I know he is thinking girl because I would be so happy...looks like we will be thrilled regardless!!

I have one of each already, so I can honestly say I have no preference. My daughter will definitely be pulling for a girl though. I have a feeling it's a boy, but we'll have to wait and see.

If I got my way, we'd have fraternal twins- one boy and one girl. Which considering we did IVF, is a possibility. It took so long to get pregnant, that I'd be happy with twins so we don't have to go through this again. But if we only had one, I'd be happy if the baby was healthy. I honestly don't care if its a girl or boy.

I'm really hoping for a little girl this time. It's been nine years almost since I've had a baby girl and after three boys in a row I'd love to buy some little pink tights again! Also I've just always wanted to give my daughter a sister since I never had one. I have a feeling it's another boy though, which would be awesome as well. There's just something about being able to bring up respectful, upstanding young men that's really special:)

i think i subconsciously want a girl, as i am drawn to everything girlie. and i started calling the baby 'her' immediately without even thinking about it. that being said, i would be thrilled to have a boy (a mini dh!).

I'm praying for a healthy baby and would be more than happy to have either a boy or girl....but, I kinda want a girl. I'm the oldest and a girl and I think I turned out pretty awesomely. Plus, I can imagine how overprotective my hubby and I will be, my poor daughter doesn't need to add older brothers to the list of people that'll be stalking her life LOL. But, for some reason, I feel like it's a boy.

Only twelve more weeks till we find out!! haha.
