Hey, just wondered how you are doing.  Will you still be doing IVF this summer?  Do you know when you'll be starting?   Any vacation plans, or does that depend on timing? 

I will most likely be stimming in mid-late June with IVF # 2 in late June or July.  It will be so much nicer to be off in summer (or at least have flexible hours since I work 2 extra weeks) and not have the stress of getting to school on time.   

Just wanted to let you know I've been thinking about you and hope you are doing well!

    So sweet of you to think of me, you're in my thoughts as well. (In fact just the other day I had a t-shirt with a black and gold smile cookie that said "It's a 'burgh thing" and was wondering how you were doing) I'm doing well. We will be doing IVF #2 in July (our plan anyway). I go in to the RE's office if/when this cycle ends (I did Femara, so there is always hope) and we'll schedule everything. We're going to Outer Banks, NC in July and our plan is to not have to do any shots on vacation and then start as soon as we return. So I think we'll start stimming towards the end of July. And your thoughts are the same as ours were, we're hoping to do this during the summer, while I do work summer school, it's known if I don't work I don't get my overtime but I won't owe anyone anything and don't have to worry about using my days. Hopefully, without the stress of having to work we'll both have successful cycles this time!!

    We are trying to decide.  I have 6 weeks off in summer, so it is really going to depend how the IVF timing goes.  Plus, it's my parents 50th anniversary the weekend before I start back to work, so I have a lot of prep to do for that.  We didn't go anywhere last year though, so I do want to do something.

    When (if - I am always hopeful) I get AF I will start BCP's.  RE said I will be on them for 2-4 weeks.  Of course, I have to take lovenox while I am on them too.  I am hoping for only 2-3 weeks and then maybe we can go away. 

    I am supposed to do the micro dose protocol, but I am getting worried since I keep hearing about this lupron shortage.  My RE hasn't said anything to the contrary yet, so I hope it all works out.

    Oh and I love your shirt!  I have seen those around.  Let me know if you are ever out here visiting - I would love to meet up for lunch or something. 

    My fingers are crossed that you won't need IVF this summer and that the femara works for you this cycle!!

    We had a year when we didn't go anywhere and I wasn't a happy camper. I asked my husband for at least one vacation per year and now I kind of just book them and he has to deal with it. Wink I'm hoping you don't have to start the BCP at all. I'm also confident they'll be able to get lupron for you, doctor's know or they know a way around it. I have everything crossed for you!
