You know that moment when you put LO down..

And back S-L-O-W-L-Y out of the room?

Hardly breathing, for fear the almost silent sound of an inhale will ruin it?

And then you step on that one creeky floorboard outside her room that you are beginning to hate more than anything in the world?

And curse as loud and as dirty as you possibly can in your head?

And LO doesn't wake up?

Don't you just thank whatever higher power you believe in harder than you ever have in your life?

This post brought to you by a mama who has been awake for almost 36 hours and might actually get a minute or two of sleep.

    I hope you get some rest
     
     That floorboard is in the middle of my sons room so on rough nights I sleep curled up in a ball in the nursery chair.. but I am thankful for the few hours of sleep.

    LOL- we've got this going on as we're trying to unswaddle Harper and just about any sound will wake her up and get those arms swinging right at her face.

    I'm so glad that you might get some rest!

    I hope Cami goes easy on you tonight and you're able to get lots of sleep.

    The door to DD's room is squeaky so I know the feeling....DH really needs to fix that.

    Good night!  36 hours is rough.  I'm somewhere around that mark too as DD was awake all night last night.  Hope you get more than a minute or two tonight.
