    $15.  I teach and that's what the teachers charge.  I gues sif you have a high school student, you can get away with $12.

    we use 2 different high school girls and both get $10.

    So its based on age of sitter? not age of children? Do you think these rates apply in Greenwich?

    Hi- You said Greenwich- I babysit for 2 families in Greenwich- one pays me $15 an hour and only has one child. The other has 2 and pays me $20. I am a teacher in New Canaan, and the "set rate" at my school is $20. I know its a lot. I pay my sitter $15.
