SSG - I would try it for this year and then if you don't like it, shelve it for a year. Grayson is only 34lbs and it is pretty snug on him (ie. he probably won't be able to wear it next year.) The reason they are 30lbs+ is becuase they are approved life preservers and anything for kids under 30lb has to have the collar around the neck to keep their head above water - which is great from a life saving aspect, but not too helpful from a swimming aspect.
I saw some at bjs so I will pick them up. I am pretty much buying a ton of different things to see what will work at the lake this summer. I am glad they work under 30lbs. I can not see her happy playing in the life vest with the neck thing for long periods of time.

Re: 2brides
butting in I think they are the puddle jumpers.
I have heard they are not so great for under 30lbs though so I am holding off on getting one for E until next year.
Yup. Puddle Jumpers by Sterns.

Thanks!
Yeah, I'm going to grab one for Gwen, though I'm sure she won't fit it until next year. But I was asking for my friend's daughter who is a year older.
