U/s yesterday and babymoon booked!

We had our 8 week ultrasound yesterday. I thought I was just 8 weeks today, but dr. put me at about 8 1/2 weeks... so I'll be 9 weeks on Friday. EDD is Decemeber 30th, but I like it here and I want to stay! Women will their first babies are usually late right!? U/s looked good... we could see the head and little growth of arms. It looked like a peanut :-)

 We also booked a babymoon today. We are going on an eastern caribbean cruise to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay , and Nassau. It was such a long process to book air, cruise, pre-cruise hotel on top of finding travel insurance that covers anything to do with pregnancy. But, we are booked!! Now... to stop overeating so I don't look THAT bad in my bathing suit by then!

    Congrats on both!  So glad you got to se your baby and so jealous of that cruise...cruises are my favorite!!!

    YAY, that's great!  What an awesome babymoon idea.  My DH and I are thinking about going to NYC to visit my SIL!

    Congrats!  And dont leave us.  Spread the love.  ;) 

    We took a similar cruise last summer.  Grand turk, we rented golf carts and toured the island.  So fun!  Half Moon Cay is just a relaxing island.  Not much to do but so nice!  Have a great time!  Make sure you aren't past 26 weeks when you go.  Cruises have strict rules.

    Wow, I am ridiculously jealous of your babymoon. It sounds so wonderful, when are you going?? If I were you I would probably just hang out here still as well.

    Each cruiseline is different for when the restriction starts for pregnant passengers. It's usually around 24-26 weeks. I hope you didn't book past that. Plus you'll need a doctors note in regards to your due date or how far along you actually are. Sidestepping that... I LOVE cruising. We've gone 4 times in the last 4 years since we got married. This is the first year we aren't going for obvious reasons. Hope you guys have fun!

    No worries... I'll only be about 13 weeks when we go. I already checked into it :-) I can't wait!
