This is my first pregnancy so I don't know if this is normal or not, but I assume it is. As the weeks go on, and the pregnancy progresses t keeps getting worse. I feel this increased pressure like pain down there. I am guessing it's from the baby dropping. Standing up or getting out of bed is painful. It gets worse as the day goes on. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Re: It hurts to Walk
yes and mine seems to get worse by the day :-(
Nothing you can do about it though
I am. I didnt ecperience this during my first pregnancy...then again DS was delivered at 34 weeks.
Walking is such an annoyance. I've given up on shopping and other stuff that I can just make my DH do..lol. Stairs are the worst. And it sucks because our only bathroom is on the 2nd floor...yay! I also have the pain getting in and out of bed. I'm deffinatly to the point that I just dont roll over in my sleep anymore.
Ugh I can't wait for this baby to come.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
This Cluttered Life
I'm totally having this problem too! I think it's just from the baby's head dropping further into the canal. It'll be over soon!

BFP!! 8/29/16 --> EDD: 5/11/17....it's a GIRL!!!
I give you props because I am probably going to take off work because of this walking problem. (I am also a teacher). The long strides, the getting up and standing up, sitting, etc... all a big pain. The doctors all say it's normal. It's normal and fine with me if the doctor tells me I am progressing... I haven't heard that yet
My blog
I've also had this recently and to the point where I didn't want to get out of bed the other night, no matter how bad I thought I had to pee! It's a very strong pain low in the abdomen and at times, I feel like I can't move my left leg. To be totally gross, for some reason, sometimes it comes along with gas and when I fart it goes away. Interesting, I know!
I told my OB about it yesterday and she said it's perfectly normal as the baby drops lower and your pelvis opens up.
