I feel like this board is very bacon aware so thought you might be amused by this blog entry. I am not a huge bacon fan, but I do love salty & sweet combos so some of these recipes, while sounding like a heart attack, did sound yummy. And for what it is worth, I've never heard of "hoecakes".
