PSA re: Ultrasound Pics

A lot of doctor's offices and labs will put your first and last name on ultrasounds, and some places will even put your SSN on them!

Just a PSA as many of us start getting those first and second ultrasounds that we'll want to share to double check the personal info on them in case you don't want that floating around on the interwebs! Smile

After TTC with IR PCOS:
April 2011: Metformin 1500mg + Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel + Prometrium = BFP!
Beta #1 at 14DPO: 197 Beta #2 at 18DPO: 1296
At 40w6d, our Team Green surprise came by unplanned C-section and changed our lives forever!

    My sister is a sonographer, and she did clinical rotations through a variety of locations, and a few places she was at had SSNs on them - one of the girls she shadowed would remind girls to be careful about making pictures without cropping or blurring that out. Something about how certain brands of machines are set up.

    Wow, never heard of the SSN thing and like pp said, I always crop out my personal info anyway.    My dr's office does use your name and your patient file number, but that doesn't mean anything to anyone but the people in their office.
