SCH... what do you know about it

I went to my appointment today and was told that the baby looks great, is growing right one track and heartbeat is very strong. They changed my due date by one day which I think is hiliarious because now its on my sister in laws exact birthday (she is going to be sooooo excited).

I guess the bleed was from a subchronic hematoma or SCH. Basically I have a tear in between the placenta and the uterus and my body was trying to flush my baby away! Thank goodness I have a fighter in there and my LO survived. I am spotting a little bit but other than that no warning symptoms.

I have another doctors appointment next week and was told that this will be a weekly schedule until they know for sure the SCH is controlled and the baby is no longer at risk. It scary knowing I have no control on what my body will do so I guess all I can do is pray and take it easy. I was told to reduce any and all activities I do otherwise she threatened me with bed rest. So keep your fingers crossed for me and if anyone has gone thru this before please let me know how things turned out for you and what you went thru. Thanks for listening!

    I will definitely be praying for you and your LO. I don't know anything about SCH but it sounds like you've got a doctor who is looking out for you both!

    You should post on Pregnant after IF, I know some of the ladies on there have dealt with this. I know L&R had this and is about five weeks away from giving birth. GL!
