First appt. today - excited and nervous!

It's not until 4pm today, I don't know how I'm going to get through work!! I've confirmed three times that there will be a u/s, I'm so excited to see a h/b!

Plus, DH and I agreed to tell family if everything looks good, so this weekend we finally get to spill the beans! 

This is also the only time I've felt nervous that something could be wrong. I've had all the textbook pg symptoms, and no spotting or bleeding, but still nervous. After this appointment it seems like the pregnancy (and baby) will actually be real!

    Seeing the heartbeat is such a thrill! I hope we get an early us, too. I want to see the new baby!!!

    Good Luck at your appt!! I feel the same way about our 1st appt which I feel like is taking forever to get here. I was just telling DH this morning that it will def feel "real" once we see our little bean on the u/s and hear the heartbeat!  Keep us posted on how your appt goes!

    my first appointment is Thursday and i confirmed there will be an u/s as well.  we told our parents only so far and told them to keep quiet until the appointment and my mom keeps texting me "Is it Thursday yet?"  we're so excited and nervous and i really hope we can hear a h/b as well!  i don't know how people that have to wait until 8 or 10 weeks for an appointment handle the suspense (especially for FTMs).  i'm supposedly gonna be about 6w1d Thursday.  Tell us how it goes.  GL!
