We have a boxer/pit. She is such a sweetheart. DS & the dog get along great!! The dog actually licked DS's butt the other night while DS was naked and he thought it was HILARIOUS!!!! So cute to see them get along so well!!

we have 2 wiener dogs.

We have two redbone hounds. Betsy is absolutely nuts about them, but they aren't wild about her. They are very good about running away when they see her coming.
The exception is her meal time--then they love her. Meal time makes everyone happy.
This for me too, except exchange two for one and beagle for redbone coonhound.
For less then ten cents a day, you can feed a hungry child.
We have 1/2 St. Bernard & have Great Dane. She is an outside dog, but they get along ok. Carson just likes to look at her & she pretty much just stays away from him. I took this pic, then started petting her which made her roll on him. Needless to say she couldn't sit with us anymore. She would crush him! lol
We have one beagle and two beagle mixes (60 and 70 lbs) and they are great with Ellie. Sometimes they don't realize their own size so we have to be careful when they are giving kisses or trying to cuddle E.
We have a mystery dog. He's about 40 lbs, medium-sized.
Mac loves him and thinks he's the coolest creature on the entire planet. Oz (the dog) tolerates Mac because he knows we love him. He's actually pretty tolerant when Mac grabs his tail or feet -- Oz is pretty protective of his feet. He's also learning to move away from Mac to avoid being groped.

We have an old Bulldog...she is great with the kids, but does get grumpy in her old age (and startled easily) so we do try to give her some space. She lets both kids crawl on her and is fine.
She puts up with a lot:
We have two Corgis. They both don't mind DS, they sniff him and lick him, but that's about it. Our older male Corgi, however, while he was OK w/ DS was NOT adjusting well. He was tearing up stuff, getting trash/diapers/clothes/general messes ALL over the place, constantly barking/trying to get attention, taking it out on our younger female Corgi, etc. He would also lick DS CONSTANTLY and it would leave a bad rash afterwards. He is VERY high maintenance and was not doing well w/ the shift in attention. So he is staying w/ family for now (although they don't want to take care of him anymore, so I'm not sure what we're going to do.)
Our other Corgi is great. She'll get near DS, but when he tries to grab her she gets a little jumpy and usually walks away. He's grabbed her fur and pulled it before and she'll put her nose to his hand and lick him then she'll try to stay away. So I'm glad she's never snapped at him.
DS LOVES, LOVES animals! He will gut laugh at them all the time and he always wants to pet them. He especially loves my mom's new kitten who loves to play w/ him.
We have a wiener dog that LOVES Colby. She will roll all around him and let him grab her ears or skin. She's very gentle. But she also will like his face when I'm not looking. She's obsessed with the licking.
We also have a half boxer/half lab that just kind of avoids him. Colby's tried to grab at her before and she just backs away.
