And I'm STILL on the fence about red shirting him.
Ugh.
I wish these decisions were easier.
Anyone else gearing up for Kindy this coming fall?
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
Re: Just went to Kindergarden open house....
GL with the decision - I bet it's a tough one.
J has a Feb birthday and he's definitely ready for kindy - but it's kind of hard on me, lol. He's been in FT daycare most of his life so it really shouldn't be that big of a deal, but for some reason it's very emotional for me.

I can't believe Dylan is old enough
Time flies!
We still have a long while before I need to decide for the twins. It will be such a hard decision especially b/c I have to make a decision for not one but two kids. I'm still leaning towards red-shirting. Mainly b/c all the studies I've read show boys especially do better by delaying. It is a hard decision and so much to consider (knowing me I will decide the day of the deadline)! GL!!!!!
Our oldest turns 5 in early June. She's definitely going to kindergarten in the fall. Her teachers both said they felt she was ready and I agree - I have no hesitations with sending her.
It will be a big transition for all of us though because we adore the girls' preschool where everyone knows our names. There are less than 100 kids at her current school, which goes from toddler to pre-K. Her new school is K through 6 and has over a thousand kids!
This is how my DS is too. He's bday is 3.5 mos before the cut off (we have a late one) and he could have gone either way, but we sent him ahead. He is definitely where he belongs and is going onto 1st grade next year. It's not always easy for him, but I don't think it would be easy the other way around either. Regardless, nothing is every easy with him anyway. ;-)
