Dreamfeed is AMAZING

After trying for the past couple of weeks, we've finally been able to implement the dreamfeed (a la Baby Whisperer) the past three nights, and I LOVE it. Here's what the past three nights have looked like in our household:

Night 1:

Put Noah to bed at 8:30. DH and I had some time together, then we did a dreamfeed (3 oz. while he slept) around 11. He slept until 4:30.

Night 2:

Put Noah to bed at 8:30. Another dreamfeed, this time at 10:30. Slept until 3:30.

Night 3:

Noah was in bed by about 8:15. Took 4 oz. dreamfeed at 10:15. Slept until 5!!!

I seriously hope we can keep this up because I feel like sanity is finally returning to our household. We'd been having more like a 10:30 bedtime, getting back up around 2 and again around 5. This has been such a welcome change!

    I don't use the baby whisperer but I have been trying to put her to bed earlier and nurse her laying down (don't know why I didn't do this sooner!) and she literally passes out, limp limbs and all! Congrats to you guys!

    I'm happy the dreamfeed worked for you, it hasn't worked for us AT ALL. It's almost like it triggers DD to need more food then she wakes up even more through the night.

    I don't know if this is considered dream feeding... but at 6ish in the morning after 6 hours of sleep when she starts to stir I feed her and she falls back to sleep until 10.  It is great.  I love bedsharing for this reason... I get so much sleep.

    tried this last night..and she got up to feed at 2, then 5, then 7 then up at 7:45. I'll try anything once though
