Hello Ladies,Looking for recommendations for pediatricians in S or SW Austin. I missed the fact that we need to pick one before the delivery happens.
I am in my 38th week and will be delivering at Seton central and need to pick one soon. Thanks in advance!
Re: Pediatrician recommendations in South Austin,TX
That's who we saw in Austin as well (we lived near Slaughter & 35). I loved Dr. C! The other pedi we considered was downtown, but after I made the drive to both places it was a no-brainer - traffic was much lighter heading to Buda than it was into downtown.

We adore Dr. Heidi Busceme at ARC Southwest. One time we also saw the PA there - Chris Crocker - and he was great too.

Ditto! PJ is awesome and so is Dr. C!
These are our pedis! DD sees Dr. Busceme and DS sees Mr. Crocker. I have been extremely pleased with ARC (all my physicians are through ARC) and love this location, especially their after hours care clinic.
We've also seen Dr. Broberg (he's based at the South 1st clinic) during after hours for DD. He's also very lovely.
Dr. Broberg is seriously so nice. He goes to my mom's church and I've known him forever.
We took DD to Dr. Angelyn Tarrant at Lake Austin Pediatrics. It's in Westlake, but the drive was never bad.
Ditto! We LOVE Dr. Collins! We live off Slaughter and it only takes us about 10 minutes to get to the office.

This is our pedi also and she's great! I love the office. We've had to call the after hours line a few times and they've been very quick to call back. They also have walk-in clinics on the weekends during cold and flu season.
Dr. C doesn't go to the hospital after the birth, you just use the on-call pedi and get in to see Dr. C after you're discharged.
