  • I LOVE Dr. Karyn Collins at Pediatric Junction, which is actually in Buda.  We live off of William Canon and it is not too far, it literally takes us 10-12 mins to get there from South austin.  That practice is def worth the drive, love her!!

That's who we saw in Austin as well (we lived near Slaughter & 35).  I loved Dr. C!  The other pedi we considered was downtown, but after I made the drive to both places it was a no-brainer - traffic was much lighter heading to Buda than it was into downtown.

  • We adore Dr. Heidi Busceme at ARC Southwest. One time we also saw the PA there - Chris Crocker - and he was great too.

  • I see Dr. Kelly Jolet at Southwest Pediatrics (located at Seton SW). I can't speak highly enough about her or the practice. All of the Drs. there are highly competent. We also rarely ever have to wait for our appts. which I really appreciate. Last I heard, Dr. Jolet wasn't accepting new patients but that was months ago and things change pretty fast over there.

Ditto! PJ is awesome and so is  Dr. C!

  • My kids go to Dr. Mouser at ARC Southwest. My neighbor and her teacher friends all send their kids to Dr. Mouser as well. LOVE her and her nuse, Nurse Debbie. Mouser has even called to check on the kids when they've had something really bad (not an ear infection). She has lots of experience to draw upon and explains current research and/or why she's thinking what she's thinking. When she's not in we try to see Dr. Busceme and she's also great, as another Bumpie mentioned...

These are our pedis! DD sees Dr. Busceme and DS sees Mr. Crocker.  I have been extremely pleased with ARC (all my physicians are through ARC) and love this location, especially their after hours care clinic.

We've also seen Dr. Broberg (he's based at the South 1st clinic) during after hours for DD. He's also very lovely.

Dr. Broberg is seriously so nice. He goes to my mom's church and I've known him forever.

We took DD to Dr. Angelyn Tarrant at Lake Austin Pediatrics. It's in Westlake, but the drive was never bad.

Ditto!  We LOVE Dr. Collins!  We live off Slaughter and it only takes us about 10 minutes to get to the office.

This is our pedi also and she's great! I love the office. We've had to call the after hours line a few times and they've been very quick to call back. They also have walk-in clinics on the weekends during cold and flu season.

Dr. C doesn't go to the hospital after the birth, you just use the on-call pedi and get in to see Dr. C after you're discharged.
