I've been on TTGP and TTTC - and I just can't find a place where I fit in. One site seems overrun right now with 20 year olds (I'm 32, DH is 38) who are griping about trying for more than 3 months and the other is pretty intense and sometimes terrifying with all of the med lingo and signatures that scare the hell out of me. I'm going to lurk a little here and I hope that nobody minds.
DH and I have been TTC for 17 cycles. At first we "just tried", then we "tried harder" with timing and charting, and now we're at war with whatever this "unexplained" stuff is that is keeping me from getting KU. I just want a baby.
I'm ready to smack the next woman who says "relax" or "it'll happen in time with God's plan" or "all that trying stuff seems so hard, we just had sex and it happened right away"... so I'm thinking I might fit in with the Snarky crowd.
If Stacy with the crazy CIL wants me to come over and give CIL a piece of my mind, I will. I'm hormonal, bloated and exhausted. Watch out.
*smiles* So, who wants to be friends?
Re: Intro to S&TTTC (with a little vent for good measure)
::raises hand:: I do
I know exactly what you mean ~ I don't really fit in anywhere (DH and I have been TTC 15 cycles, this is our 2nd round of Clomid) ~ and I'm becoming quite snarky (almost pushed a gal into the melon display after overhearing her bitterly complain about her pregnancy and how she couldn't believe she was knocked up, again...)
I hope this phase of our lives doesn't last too long, but am glad to have the company!
Thanks for having us with open arms. I appreciate it. Fishstix, I laughed out loud at the melon stand episode, we're going to be juuuust fine....

Hi everybody!
Good news is I love chocolate and pandas
I am glad to meet such great women to chat with, especially since we seem to be on the same wave length!
There are days I definitely need a break from all the TTC stuff ~ sometimes it seems like that is all I think about ~ and I need reconnect with myself and everyone else!
I still wish we could have named the board "Eff TTC".
I'm sorry you are still in the trenches! The board is pretty awesome and could always use new, non-douchey faces! (Esp. if those faces bring chocolate and funny posts).
He's the single greatest thing I've done in my life and reminds me daily of how fun (and funny) life can be. He's turned out pretty swell for having such a heartless and evil mother.
