My m/w said that since I am able to empty my bladder throughout the day, she's not as concerned about the problems at night - if I went for, say, 12-24 hours never fully emptying my bladder she'd want me to come in and be catheterized. But for now I am going to set my alarm to pee every 2 hours in the night (the problem is much worse when my bladder is full), and get on the floor with my butt in the air 3 times a day for 10 minutes to try to encourage my uterus to pop out of my pelvis (which she said it should do on its own by 14 weeks). Just hoping that happens sooner than later! She also gave me a new position to try to get the flow going.
Thanks for listening to my complaints!
Re: Update on bladder issues
So glad you don't need a catheter! I remember having to go pee, sitting down, and then waiting forever for it to start coming out. NOTHING like what you have going on, but I remember it being weird!
Good luck peeing tonight! Hopefully waking every two hours will do the trick.
Glad you have a game plan!
Wait, what's the new position? Curiosity is getting me
Definitely. Can you try doing pelvic rocks, too, while you're down there? Those are supposed to get the ute out of the pelvis, too, though I think it's more for when you're farther along. It could help, though, and at this point...maybe worth a try?

Well, besides getting the tub with my butt in the air (tried it, didn't work). She said I could try leaning to the side on the toilet and pushing my uterus up.
