You know how much we all love it when someone sees our kids and is like "ooh, TWINS!"? Totally just saw a picture of Usher and his two boys in People and thought "I didn't even know he had twins!" Turns out they're 3 and 2. So .... I guess it happens to the best of us. Wink

Though, 3 and 2 year olds do look a whole lot more alike than a 6 month old and a 2 year old, which is about when we started getting the twin comments....

Someone asked us if Aidan and Cooper were twins when Cooper was literally, like a few weeks old. Maybe a month. Because a 1 month old and a 25 month old look so much alike. Um, ok.

I got a twin comment and mine are 2.5 years apart! They see double stroller and ask the stupidist questions!

Same thing happened to me with Linc & June. She was like 8mo old and Lincoln was 2.5yrs! It is so strange what people ask when they obviously look so different in age!

I've been wondering when this might happen. DS is currently 27 pounds, and DD is almost 20 pounds! So she is going to be catching up to her brother quickly.

I have been waiting for this myself, the girls are only 4 lbs difference and not far off in clothes sizes either.

Oh I get that allll the time, then I hear "oooooooh Irish twins" and every person they are related to or even heard of that are irish twins. I do think its adorable when my 5 year old picks up her "little" sister to see something and she's huffing and puffing struggling to lift her because her "little"sister is the same weight and about an inch shorter! lol

We've gotten a BIG uptick in the twins question the last few months, especially if the boys are sitting like in a shopping cart or at a table at a restaurant. I realize they look a lot alike so it doesn't bother me too much. But I have to give side eye to the people who see them standing next to each other and still ask - they are clearly not the same age!
