For those who have had babies already how is your weight loss going? I gave birth a little over 2 weeks ago and I have lost 12lbs. I joined weight watchers this week and am really trying to make a concerted effort to drop these pounds. I was overweight when I got pregnant so I have 49lbs to lose until I get to a healthy weight for my height. I only gained 26lbs during pregnancy. Anyways just seeing how everyone else is doing in this area. Also I am not breastfeeding so I feel like I might be at a slight disadvantage, I have heard breastfeeding helps drop weight.

Re: Weight Loss
This, only I gained 35 with K and have only lost 10. in my defense we've been in the NICU, cooks childrens, Mothers day, my birthday, DH's graduation, and then my family was here for a week. All reasons to celebrate and eat bad food.
DH and I are back on track starting today (as soon as I have my last peice of birthday cake and wash the plate
) I would like to lose 30-35 lbs.
Girl- that is more than enough reason- and you had a c section.
I'd say 10 is admirable!
I gained about 50 pounds and looks like I'm down 17 so far. I'm tracking my calories on livestrong.com and shooting for 1800-2000 per day since Im bf'ing. Pilates starts on 6/5 and Mommy and me yoga starts next week.
I hope to be down to near-PP by mid July.
However, I wonder how long it will take this time to regain my stomach muscles...verrrrry streched out right now....it may be a long road...
I was shocked when I went to the doctor on Friday to find that I had lost 31 lbs in a week! It helps that 10 of that was straight baby!haha
I gained about 35 all together, so I'd like to lose a few more. And even better to just keep it melting away would be nice! We'll see.
gained 27 over the course the of the pregnancy. LO has been out almost 3 weeks, and I'm down 16 pounds, with about 10-11 to go.
I had a C section, so recovery has been hindering my walking to get back in shape. BFing doesn't seem to be taking any weight off!
I gained an even 40 pounds overall, ten of which all came in the last couple weeks as fluid retention due to high blood pressure.
When I went in for my two week post-birth check-up, I'd already lost 30 of that.
The final 10 hasn't budged but I haven't even thought of addressing it yet.
