what age for baby crack machine?

Would it help a 1 month old be too young to take interest in it?

 I received one for a present but haven't used it yet....  when did your dc start enjoying it?

    we didn;t use one when she was that little but i did have a fan on in her room so she got used to the noise.  I don't see why you can't use it yet.

    My DS loved it at 1 month old. Now he's so used to it that he knows it's time to sleep when I turn it on. I don't use the projections just yet.

    I started using ours when she was 2 weeks old.  My DD enjoys the white noise (I think, anyway) and she sjust started looking at the projections on ceiling.

    We had a sound machine in ds's  room already and got this because he loved to look at the fan so much we thought he might like the projection.  He does.  I put it on a timer when we use it so he's not looking at it forever though.
