LO's crib still has a bumper, his car seat is FF, I put too many Mickey Mouse and Baby Einsten DVDs for him and sometimes I give him my iPhone while we shop. I secretly look forward to nap time and bed time ALL day long.
There, I've said it. I guess it's a good thing I work part-time because I'm not cut out to be a full-time SAHM. I'm officially a "bad" mom!
Re: FFFC
Oh, and he still drinks milk from a bottle.
bad, bad mom...
NOT a bad mom.
I do all the same things. Except for the bottles and milk.
And I wish I hadn't done the cold turkey on the bottle since he won't drink milk at all.

Or, you're a mom doing what works for you and your family.
I totally look forward to nap time and bed time, too. Toddlers are exhausting!
Thank you for posting this! I called my sister yesterday to confess the same things and I felt so horrible and guilty about it. I totally look forward to bedtime every day so I can have some time to myself to do whatever I want. And on days when my work is slow I usually go shopping or stay holed up in my office (I work at home) and do my own thing instead of going out to hang out with the LOs.
Also, Noah watches waaay more TV than I ever let Ellie watch as a baby, but it keeps him occupied and happy while I get dinner ready or clean up or whatever.
Glad to know I'm not alone!
Mine is not baby related. I always hear how men can't read our minds, so as this past Mother's Day was my first one, I said to DH, "I'll bet DS would LOVE to get his Mommy a Vera Bradley bag for Mother's Day!" DH asked which bag DS wanted to get, but I said I didn't know. Figured he could pick one out. So I was totally expecting a bag. No bag. He did get me a lovely gift, but I wanted the bag. That's why I asked for it. Not sure how there could be any confusion.
Yes, I know Mother's Day was 2 weeks ago! Good thing this is a FFFC!
He's thriving and happy! I think if I tried to do everything everyone says is best practice I would go batty. I don't even secretly look forward to naptime. I OPENLY look forward to it, and I get crabby the days she just won't cooperate. I have a few apps for Margaux on my android to keep her occupied when I need a break, and I plop her in front of signing videos when I need to clean or make food. Margaux doesn't even sleep in her own bed, she's still in ours!
Bleargh.
So does Ada. I don't feel bad about it at all. She'll give it up when she's dam good and ready! She's like her father that way...
