Baby acne vs. Ezcema?

How do you know if typical baby acne is really something more? LO has had it for almost two weeks and it's spreading to her neck and chest. Just wondering what eczema looks like compared to baby acne. TIA!

    Axtons started out as little bumps then started to look more patchy. His skin was really dry. And would look better if i put lotion on it. It so spread to his ears and looked "cracked" or crusty.

    The magic words at my pedi's office were that his "acne" turned bright red whenever LO cried.  His also spread to his neck, chest, and ears, started at 5 days, dx as eczema at 7 weeks.
